Page Museum at la Brea Tar Pits
Do you ever feel the need to explore and discover new and interesting things? If you do, then you should know this: In the heart of Los Angeles hides an original museum located at 5801 Wilshire Blvd, in the Rancho La Brea Tar Pits. This area is famous all over the world for the large amount of fossils found here, fossils belonging to Ice Age animals and plants. Visit the Rancho La Brea Tar Pits, enter the Hancock Park and you’ll travel through time 10,000 to 40,000 years ago, when the Los Angeles Basin was inhabited by mammoths, ground sloths and saber-toothed cats. At the La Brea Tar Pits you’ll find the only saber-tooth cat which was discovered with its mouth closed. You can also see how mammoth grew their teeth, the healed injuries of an Ice Age wolf and even enter the fish bowl laboratory. And if you wish to go on an adventure, join the young wolf Shasta on his Ice Age Adventure.
