Travel Town Museum Los Angeles
Do you like traveling? And I don’t mean traveling only in space, but also in time. Well, only the Travel Town Museum can offer you that.
Located at located at 5200 Zoo Drive, behind the Los Angeles Zoo, the Travel Town Museum was opened in 1952. It was first conceived as a fun park for children, but Charley Atkins came up with the great idea of transforming it into a train museum. Here you can find antique vehicles, rail cars, trolleys, trains, many of them open for children. One of the oldest trains is an 1864 Norris-Lancaster.
If you are on a family vacation, then you definitely shouldn’t miss the Travel Town Museum. You can have a lovely picnic in one of the picnic areas or even organize your child’s birthday here. It’ll surely be a unique experience. Go on a short train ride and you’ll feel like traveling back in time.
And so that you don’t leave empty handed, we have prepared a special gift shop. You’ll find here presents for all your friends and family.
