Los Angeles International Airport
For a safe and pleasant flight there’s no better choice than the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), the fifth busiest airport in the world. The last year, over 61 million people used the airport’s services.
Ever since 1928, the Los Angeles International Airport, known at that time as the Mines Field, has been used as a general aviation field. In 1946 started the commercial airline service and in 1961 was built the present terminal. National and international terminals were added in 1980. The LAX has a huge impact upon Los Angeles’ economy. It creates approximately 60,000 jobs near the airport and 408,000 throughout California.
The airport’s central terminal area is made up of nine passenger terminals, connected by a two-level roadway.

To get to Los Angeles by train, you’ll need to use the Amtrak. In Los Angeles, the Amtrak is located at 800 North Alameda Street.
You can also get to Los Angeles by cruise ship or by bus. All the ships dock at the Port of Los Angeles.
Getting Around: Even if public transportation is available, we recommend you either to use your personal car or to rent one.
